C-17 transports Outback fire truck
USAF transports an Australian E-1 Titan Firetruck. A team of 6 firefighters (3 AS and 3 US) were taken to Bradshaw Field Training Area in the Northern Territory. The firetruck included a Port of Entry (POE) kit, which allows the firemen to run unsupported for up to 30 days. The airfield there has dirt runway; having the fire team there allows for Semi-Prepared Runway Ops. This means the US can perform airdrops and landings at Bradshaw now that a fire team is there for any emergencies.
