HMA Ships Kanimbla and Manoora
The amphibious phase of Exercise Talisman Saber 09 saw HMAS KANIMBLA off Freshwater Bay training area in North Queensland. Kanimbla's complement of 270 embarked forces, along with their equipment and vehicles were taken to shore on landing craft to participate in the Assault phase of the exercise.
