HMAS Kanimbla Amphibious Operations
Charlie Company of 3 Royal Australian Regiment, head ashore to Freshwater Bay in support of the next phase of Exercise Talisman Saber 09. Landing Craft Amphibious, HMAS Kanimbla was responsible for transporting 270 embarked forces, along with their equipment and vehicles, in preparation for the amphibious phase of the exercise.
A Landing Craft Medium (LCM8) stands by, ready to conduct a stern door marriage with HMAS KANIMBLA for transfer of vehicles and personnel.
