Supercarrier George Washington catapults into TS09
Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Commander Northern Command, Commodore David Gwyther, this week saw first hand the capability of the US Navy when he inspected aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73).
When any member is 'topside' on the deck of USS George Washington, personal protective gear is worn. Clothing often displays the person's job by its colour and their position or name.
