United States Marines clear the way
Part of the Blue Force - United States Marines make their way inland after completing an amphibious assault on Freshwater Beach, in the Shoal Water Bay Training Area. Moving up the road from the beach, the Marines are constantly encountering obstacles. Fallen trees block the road and improvised explosive devices – both being simulated with marker cards describing what the specific encounter is, slow Blue Force progress.
