817 Squadron scores a win at RIMPAC 2010

Shark 07, a Seaking MK50A helicopter from Green force's HMAS Kanimbla, was conducting a surface search when the aircraft's SENSO, LSA Doran, detected a suspicious contact. Further investigation by himself and LSA Ben McNeil revealed the contact to be an Orange force submarine. Others in the Aviation branch recognised this achievement by stenciling LSA Doran's new nickname, 'Pinger', on the door of Shark 07.
