PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP
06 September 2010 Members of HMAS Tobruk Ship’s Company danced with East New Britain locals recently during a jazz concert by the United States Navy Pacific Fleet band as part of Pacific Partnership 2010 (PP10). The concert held in the Kokopo central market drew a crowd of several hundred who enjoyed the rhythm of the eight-piece brass band. As part of a community service program during the PP10 mission, the concert provided an opportunity for interaction between East New Britain locals and sailors from Tobruk. |
