HMAS Tobruk Commencement of Pacific Partnership 2010 Mission in Rabaul

Pacific Partnership 2010 (PP10) has commenced in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea: the last of the six country program this year. HMAS Tobruk is acting as the mission command platform hosting PP10 Command staff onboard during the conduct of the seven day activity with the support of USS Vandegrift.

Working with the United States Navy, non-government organisations and the PNG Defence Force the Ship's Company and additional ADF medical, dental and engineering personnel will provide humanitarian assistance to the people of East New Britain during the annual US-led endeavour.
