Heavy Landing Craft in Lautaim

HMA Ships Labuan and Tarakan are in Lautaim, East Timor as part of Pacific Partnership 2010. Medical, dental and veterinarian teams are remaining overnight on the two ships and providing health and veterinary care each day to the locals as part of the humanitarian assistance mission.

PP10 is in East Timor for two weeks working with the East Timorese Defence Force and International Stabilisation Force members as part of the mission.

The PP10 mission marks the fifth year of Australian support, and will provide engineering and medical assistance in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea.
