Hunter Valley locals meet on Humanitarian Mission in the Solomon Islands
Three Hunter Valley veterans have played key roles in helping the disabled and disadvantaged in the Solomon Islands. The trio of Novocastrians met during the recent humanitarian civic assistance mission – PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP 2009, in the Solomon Islands.
Pacific Partnership is the annual, US-sponsored humanitarian civic assistance mission, this year delivering vital medical, dental, engineering and veterinary aid throughout the Pacific from June to September.
