Foreign observers and Exercise Boss Lift participants

Foreign observers and Exercise Boss Lift participants learn first-hand about what the Australian Defence Force and other international participants do on Exercise Pitch Black 2010 during a trip from RAAF Darwin to RAAF Tindal on a Royal New Zealand Air Force C-130.

Exercise Pitch Black 2010 runs from 16 July to 6 August and involves participants from the Australian Defence Force and elements from the Singapore, New Zealand and Thailand air forces.

Exercise Boss Lift is designed to show employers the vital contribution Reservists make to the Australian Defence Force's operational commitments and for them to gain an insight into the benefits that Reserve training brings back to the civilian workplace.
