Pitch Black 2008
| 25 June 2008 Night mission out of RAAF Base Darwin Exercise Pitch Black, the Royal Australian Air Force's largest biannual exercises that allows the men and women of the Royal Australian Air Force to train with representatives from The United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, France, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and NATO. Exercise Pitch Black 2008 (PB08) is an Offensive Counter Air (OCA) and Defensive Counter Air (DCA) exercise that provides a valuable learning experience for RAAF personnel in a genuine multinational environment. The PB08 scenario focuses on both the operational and tactical levels of warfare. |
