Australian Army and Royal Australian Navy Medics of Combined Task Force 635 (CTF 635) assist local medical staff with the night shift at Honiara Hospital in the Solomon Islands.

Medics from CTF 635 conduct medical procedural training at Honiara Hospital on an irregular basis. The training provides an opportunity for the Combat First Aiders (CFAs) and medics of CTF 635 to further their medical experience and to assist and share their expertise with the Honiara Hospital medical staff.

The medics are deployed to the Solomon Islands as part of Operation ANODE – the Australian Defence Force (ADF) contribution to the Australian led Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI)
