A team of five Air Force Environmental Health officers are currently deployed on Operation Pakistan Assist II performing the vital role of keeping Camp Cockatoo healthy.

Air Force Environmental Health Officers are public health and hygiene specialists whose main focus is to ensure Australian Defence Force work environments remain healthy on deployments. In addition, the team is regularly assessing any possible environmental impacts that the Australian Medical Task Force may have on the local Kot Addu area and taking appropriate steps to minimize them.
