OP PAKISTAN ASSIST II Outreach
The Australian Military Task Force (AMTF) conducted its first outreach clinic in the surrounding areas of Kot Addu. The outreach clinic allowed those who are too sick or unable to travel to the joint AusAID and Australian Defence Force health facility at Kot Addu.
The first clinic was conducted by a combined ADF and Pakistan military team on Sep 22 and was conducted roughly 30km from the Australian base, Camp Cockatoo.
The outreach program and the health centre at Kot Addu are part of the wider Australian government assistance to Pakistan in the wake of the floods.
