Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister Kevin Rudd MP visit to Camp Cockatoo

In his first official overseas engagement as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, today visited the co-led ADF and AusAID Australian Medical Task Force who are treating Pakistani patients at the primary health facility in the flood-affected city of Kot Addu, central Pakistan.

Minister Rudd was joined in his tour of the Camp Cockatoo Health Facility by the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, His Excellency Tim George, the Chief of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Mark Evans, the Director General of AusAID, Mr Peter Baxter, and the Commander of Joint Task Force 633, Major General John Cantwell.
