Security Detachment 16 - Farewelled in Baghdad

The Commander of Joint Task Force 633 Major General John Cantwell AO visited Australian troops in Baghdad, Iraq as part of Security Detachment (SECDET) to the Australian Embassy. Major General Cantwell attended a medal parade and presented troops with their awards before joining them for dinner. The troops have just completed an eight month rotation in Iraq with some soldiers conducting over 100 separate missions.
