Soccer Match Success

There was no surrender by International Stabilisation Force members when they were called out by the East Timorese Police.

Fortunately there were smiles all around because the name of the game was soccer.

The East Timorese Police (Policia Nacional de Timor-Leste or PNTL) recently invited their security comrades to a soccer match at the PNTL Headquarters in Dili as a gesture of the friendly bond between them.

The East Timorese are well known for their soccer excellence, so ISF team coach SIG John Frost threw his team into training in order to prevent a rout.

The first half was a real battle as the two teams slogged away in the tropical heat.

At half time ISF was leading 1-0, but SIG Frost’s training must have kicked in, and ISF team won the game 4-0.
