Christmas Cheer is Here: Christmas has already arrived by the bagful in East Timor for the Australian and New Zealand men and women of the International Stabilisation Force.

Families and friends are making sure their loved ones and mates are well remembered despite the distance between them.

While chocolate and other luxuries are unlikely to survive the tyranny of the rainy season, the messages of good will and small tokens of home are making the season one to remember.
