HMAS Ballarat recently used a transit from Fleet Base West in Perth to Christmas Island to conduct an Augmented Security Patrol (ASP) of Australia’s North West Shelf Venture.
Operation RESOLUTE is the ADFs contribution to the whole-of-government effort to protect Australias borders and offshore maritime interests. It is the only ADF operation that currently defends homeland Australia and its assets. More information on Border Patrol
