Currently based at Camp Baker, the Australian support base at Kandahar Air Field, Sergeant Bernie Rogash and Corporal Dave Cantwell volunteer their time outside their normal duties to assist the medical teams at the Role 3 Medical Facility.
Australian medics are doing the hard yards at the Kandahar Role 3 Medical Facility in Afghanistan.
With the current operational tempo, the trauma bay which handles the battle casualties is one of the busiest areas of the hospital.
The Australian medics seamlessly assisted the doctors and surgeons on duty to treat and provide the best medical treatment they can, moving between the different patients to provide assistance where needed.
