The 1st Mentoring Task Force has commenced construction on a new patrol base in Mirabad Valley region of Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan.
The new base has been requested by the local residents to provide enhanced security in a region where insurgents have attempted to maintain operations against the local population, coalition and Afghan security forces.
