The Chief of Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, and the Secretary of Defence, Dr Ian Watt, visited Australian troops deployed to the Middle East today.
Whilst meeting with the ADF men and women based at Al Minhad Air Base (AMAB) in the United Arab Emirates, the Chief of Defence Force praised the efforts of the team in providing crucial support to Australian troops in Afghanistan.
