MINDEF visits our troops in Afghanistan
Whilst conducting his first overseas tour as the Defence Minister, Stephen Smith MP visited Australian troops in Afghanistan to gain a better understanding of conditions on the ground and to thank the troops for their enormous efforts.
Minister Smith met with Australian personnel based at Multi National Tarin Kot and, later, moved by helicopter to visit those forward-based at Patrol Base Razaq in the Deh Rawud district.
