As Australia’s commitment to coalition activities in the Middle East Area of Operations continues, Commander Joint Task Force 633, Major General (MAJGEN) John Cantwell AO took time to visit Australian personnel deployed on operations in Afghanistan. MAJGEN Cantwell attended briefs at the Multinational Base – Tarin Kot and spent time talking with troops at patrol bases in the Chora Valley near Tarin Kot. He also attended theatre briefings at Kabul and Kandahar during his visit to the region.
