Commander of Joint Task Force 633 visits troops in Chorah and Baluchi valleys

MAJGEN John Cantwell, AO, Commander of Joint Task Force 633 took time to visit with Australian Service personnel based in the Chorah and Baluchi valleys in Uruzgan province. MAJGEN Cantwell spent several days with front line soldiers at patrol bases Buman, Qudus and Mirawais. It was an opportunity for him to speak with the soldiers about their current work and the progress they were making in the communities they were working with in the region. During his stop at Patrol Base Mirawais, MAJGEN Cantwell was invited to attend a Shura, a local community leaders meeting, hosted by Mohammed Dauod Khan, the Chorah District Chief.
