Chief Of Joint Operations Visits Troops In Afghanistan
LTGEN Mark Evans AO DSC and MAJGEN John Cantwell AO tour Multi National Base Tarin Kot to visit the Mentoring Task Force and the Special Forcers Task Group and also meeting with Colonel Jim Creighton Commander Combined Task Force Uruzgan and the Forth Brigadier General Mohmmed Zafar Khan. They also meet with troops before conducting a foreign weapons range shoot in Tarin Kot.

Memorial Service at AMAB for Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney
A Memorial Service was held at the Australian Support Base, UAE for Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney. He was deployed on operations in the Middle East Area of Operations as a member of the First Mentoring Task Force, LCPL MacKinney was killed in action on Tuesday 24th of August 2010.
