Central Band
June 15: The Ceremonial Band will support the OTS Initial Officer Course graduation parade at RAAF Williams Parade Ground, Point Cook, from 11.30am.
June 18: The Concert Band will be joined by new singer AC Troy McMillin for performances at the Victorian Arts Centre at 11am and 1.30pm.
June 18: Force 10 will perform at the RAAF Base Williams Officers’ Mess ball at Laverton.
June 20: The Ceremonial Band will support the 1RTU graduation parade at RAAF Base Edinburgh from 1pm.
June 27: The Air Force Jazz Ensemble will perform a concert at the BMW Edge Theatre at Federation Square in Melbourne from 12pm.
June 28: The Ceremonial Band will support the SATC graduation parade at RAAF Base East Sale from 1.45pm.
Air Command Band
June 16: A jazz and pop music quintet will perform at the 6SQN 90th anniversary function at RAAF Base Amberley.
June 20: The Air Command Parade Band will support the No. 313 (City of Dubbo) Squadron AAFC Freedom of the City Parade in Dubbo.
June 23: A jazz quartet will support the 323SQN (Glenbrook) AAFC dining-in night at the RAAF Base Richmond SGTs’ Mess.
Aussie Mossie celebration
The Mosquito Aircraft Association of Australia (the Aussie Mossies) are celebrating their 15th birthday on July 29 at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook.
The celebrations will include a guided tour of the museum and aircraft restoration hangar, an interactive flying display and a barbecue lunch. The cost will be $5 per person.
