Over-30s touch of victory

The ADF men’s over-30s touch football team turned in an exceptional effort to make it to the finals of the Australian championships in Coffs Harbour recently.
ADF Warriors won a tight semi-final 12-10 against Rustlers to qualify for the final against the Southern Suns, who had beaten Barbarians 12-0 in their semi-final.
Southern Suns proved too strong in the grand final, winning 12-2, with SGT Ivan Petrovic from ADFA and Navy’s PO Nathan Softley the scorers for the Warriors.
Air Force team members included SGT Petrovic, WOFF Michael Lennon from RAAF Base Richmond and FLGOFF Matthew Souter from RAAF Base Williamtown. |
