Mountain biking
- Nominations are open for Australian Defence Cycle Club (ADCC) entries in the 2007 Australian 24-hour Mountain Bike race to be held at Mt Stromlo in Canberra from October 13-14.
- Defence has a number of corporate team entries funded by the Australian Defence Sports Council, and riders of all levels of ability are encouraged to nominate.
- Nominations are for teams of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 10 persons. Individuals without teams may also nominate to be placed on a team depending on vacancies.

Basketball
- The ACT/Wagga Inter-Service Basketball Competition will be held in Canberra over the weekend of July 28-29.

Squash
- The ADF National Squash Championships will be held at RAAF Base Williamtown from August 19-24.
- The championships are open to keen players interested in a highly competitive, physically demanding but fun competition.

Shooting
- ADF members are invited to participate in the 2007 Australasian Police and Services Clay Target Championships from October 4-7 at the Majura Gun Club in Canberra.
