HOW much does it cost to see ACAUST and other senior officers lose their
hair?
For members of RAAF Base Glenbrook, nearly $2000. The impressive sum was
raised at the annual ‘Shave for a Cure’ day for the Leukaemia
Foundation on March 15. The brave shave volunteers included ACAUST AVM John
Quaife and Glenbrook Base Commander WGCDR Brett Bishell.
Volunteer barber, Base XO SQNLDR Brett Dockett, said: “$2000 is a huge
amount of money for a relatively small base community such as ours and I
would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated for their very generous
support.”
