| ADF golf set
for boost at Wodonga Volume 49, No. 5, April 05, 2007 |
| BOOSTING playing strength and encouraging
women players will be the focus of the 2007 ADF Cup at Wodonga Country Golf
Club in North-East Victoria from April 18 to 20. Over the past 25 years, the event has been contested as the ADF Cup and the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps (RAAOC) Cup. This years program incorporates the ADF Golf Association North-East Victoria Regional Golf Championships and the 25th Royal Australian Army Ordnance Championships. The ADF Cup will be played over 36 holes with round one on April 19 and round two of the stroke event on April 20. Wodonga Golf Club members stableford competition sponsored by the ADF Cup golf committee will be conducted on April 18 and is open to all ADF Cup competitors, depending on available tee times. A maximum of 120 players will be set for the first and second round of the championships, with first preference given to serving and retired ADF members, civilians and contractors holding an AGU or WGA handicap. A social evening program will be held at the nearby Bandiana Golf Club during the championships. Entry to the ADF Cup is $60.
