FUEL: CAF is urging all members selected for the 2006 Attitude Survey to contribute.

CHIEF of Air Force AIRMSHL Geoff Shepherd is asking all Air Force personnel selected for the 2006 Defence Attitude Survey to participate and help make a difference.
Thirty per cent of randomly-selected Defence personnel have been chosen to participate and are asked to respond by November 30.
AIRMSHL Shepherd said since its inception in 1999, the survey has been an important tool in helping Defence identify a wide variety of workplace issues.
“It provides important information about the attitudes and beliefs of our people on a wide range of personnel and management issues,” he said.
“Also, it plays a vital role in developing new personnel policy initiatives and in evaluating the relevance and effectiveness of existing personnel policies and programs.
“I am disappointed that, while the results were generally positive, we had a relatively poor level of interest in the 2005 survey.
“It is essential that we get as many people as possible taking the time to respond so that we can be confident the survey truly represents the views and opinions of Air Force and the ADF.
“While I appreciate you are all very busy, if you are selected to participate, please take the time to complete it as accurately as you can and return it by the required date. You will be playing a vital role in shaping the future development of Air Force.”
