Alright, still
Lily Allen
Regal
DISTINCTLY British vocals combine well in this ska-pop style record.
You’re probably familiar with the first track on the CD, Smile, and if you like that one, the rest of the album’s a treat. Although she’s attracting plenty of criticism for being something of a whiney self-indulgent pop princess, I find Lily Allen’s self-centred lyrics to be amusing more than anything.
It’s probably not something you’d like to put on while your mum’s around – there’s a language warning on this one – but all in all, it’s a pretty cool album.
