Squash
- The ADF Squash Nationals will be held at RAAF Base Williamtown from August 25-28. The tournament comprises the men’s and women’s open, graded, masters, doubles and inter-Service events, and is open to ADF and Defence civilian players. The RNZAF has been invited to the Nationals and may also complete a two-week tour to contest the Trans-Tasman Trophy following the tournament.

Alpine skiing
- THE Air Force Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding Championships will be held at Mt Buller, Victoria, from July 30 to August 6 in the lead-up to the inter-Service alpine sports competition the following week. Teams for the men’s and women’s downhill, snowboard and development squads will be selected during the championships.
