DEVELOPMENTS
over the next 12 months within the Air Power Development Centre
(APDC) will help deliver guidance to Air Forces decision-makers.
In a visit to the Air Power Development Centre, CAF AIRMSHL Geoff
Shepherd said, I am confident that the centre will become
an even more effective partner in guiding the Air Force into the
future.
GPCAPT Tony Forestier, Director of the APDC, briefed CAF on the
changes being made at the centre.
He said that the APDC is reorganizing to strengthen its capacity
to deliver guidance on air power development to Air Forces
decision-makers.
Major products over the next 12 months will be the Future Air
and Space Operating Concept (FASOC) and the fifth edition of the
AAP1000 publication on Air Force strategic doctrine.
While at the centre, CAF presented WOFF Howden Farrer with his
Afghanistan Medal, recognising service in support of Operation
Enduring Freedom during 2001 and 2002.
