Volume 48, No. 4, March 23, 2006
THE
proposed Officer and WOFF pay structure reported by AIR FORCE
News (March 9) will now become a reality.
On February 27, the Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal (DFRT)
endorsed the ADFs proposed graded pay structures.
The current qualification and skill elements of flying, submarine,
Special Forces and special operations allowances will be rolled
into salary for Officers and WOFFs. This will create a number
of pay grades.
Officers and WOFFs who were previously entitled to these allowances
will be placed into a pay grade according to their previous total
superannuable remuneration.
There will be no detriment to members as a result of this structural
change.
