Aircraftman Felix Ho is proof that community spirit is still alive
and well in today’s youth.
The Air Force Reservist from No. 29 City Of Hobart Squadron was
recently announced Young Tasmanian of the Year 2006 and finalist
for Young Australian of the Year for 2006.
A second-year medical student at the University of Tasmania, Leading
Aircraftman Ho is a Red Cross and St John Ambulance volunteer,
instructor in the Air Force Cadets in Hobart, a member of the
St John Tasmanian Youth Council, a sports trainer and serves with
the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
He is also in training with the RAAF Air Base Protection Flight.
He will attend Australia Day celebrations in Canberra in January,
for the Young Australian of the Year announcement..
