DEFENCE families can access information and promote family-orientated ADF policies with ease since the launch of the Defence Families of Australia (DFA) website.

DFA is an independent organisation that has, since its inception in 1986, officially represented the views of Defence families to Defence and Government decision makers.

National Convenor Maureen Greet said the DFA website was a vital resource for families to obtain information and an effective forum for making suggestions and contributing to the development of ADF policies and conditions of service.

“As National Convenor, I am proud of the contributions that our members make to support our partners and spouses during their military service,” Mrs Greet said.

The new website features an events calendar and localised news and information for each state.

“We now provide clearer explanations of our services and DFA’s role in the Defence community. Our resources web page gathers relevant web links and references for services available to families.”
