Mistake on the Mont

IN THE story of the Mont Mountain Bike Championships, which appeared on the back page of the November 3 edition of Air Force News, Flying Officer Brendon Mulloy was stated as being from the Directorate of Flying Safety.

This is incorrect; Flying Officer Mulloy is from the Directorate of Air Force Safety.

Wrong stage of the evacuation

IN THE November 17 edition of Air Force News, a photo by Corporal Peter Borys showing patients being loaded into a Hercules in the early evening carries the caption “Members of No. 396 Combat Support Wing assist aircrew and ambulance officers loading patients into a C-130 for the flight from Darwin to Newcastle”.

The photo was actually taken at Williamtown. The staff at Air Force News apologise for the error.
