COUP D’Etat’s first double CD was a wonderful mix of world music – so when I spotted Coup D’Etat Part 2, it was snapped up immediately.

With one CD full of mellow tracks – Velvet – and the other – Beat-up – a bit more jivey, you’ll be taken on a musical journey of sorts through different continents and musical genres.

Coup D’Etat’s second album isn’t quite the gem the first was, but is guaranteed to please. I’m looking forward to the third collection.
