Nominations sought for Eagle trophy
NOMINATIONS
are sought for outstanding aviation technical candidates for the
prestigious Rolls-Royce Eagle trophy.
The annual award is made to any sergeant through to flight lieutenant
in any aircraft technical/engineering specialisation, who has
achieved outstanding results in the pursuit of technical/engineering
excellence through personal endeavour, coupled with superior personal
qualities and service attitude.
Nominations are to be forwarded to the Warrant Officer of the
Air Force, Warrant Officer Peter Hall, by October 21.
Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Geoff Shepherd will announce the
winner in early November and the award will be presented at a
dinner in Canberra on November 8.
The trophy was first awarded in 1996.
Nominations are to be forwarded through command headquarters or
divisions and are to contain a suitable citation, a description
of the nominees outstanding achievements and their personal
details.
