Get
the most out of PACMAN
A
SERIES of regional workshops designed for administrators who use
the Pay and Conditions Manual (PACMAN) Version 2 has started,
with a theme of Getting the Most Out of PACMAN.
There are many new and improved features to assist users to get
the most out of the manual, according to Sue Parr, Director General
Personnel Policy Employment Conditions Branch, DPE.
The workshops have been designed to provide users of Pacman
Version 2 with an opportunity to advance their skills in using
the new online and hard copy versions, Ms Parr said.
These workshops are an important part of a broader change
management strategy to support administrators to move to the new
manual. Users will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience
with the improved accessibility and navigation features Version
2 offers and to provide feedback.
Workshops will be held for military and civilian administrators
in all major regions. They will be completed in December, before
the posting cycle.
Workshops will be held in: September Sydney West, Northern
Territory and Riverina-Murray Valley; October ACT, North
Queensland and South Queensland; November Western Australia,
South Australia, Northern NSW and Sydney Central; and December
Southern Victoria and Tasmania.
Expressions of interest in attending these workshops can be forwarded
to PACMAN@defence.gov.au.
