Anzac Exchange



EXPRESSIONS of interest to participate in Anzac Exchange 06 are being sought by the Director of Personnel-Air Force from junior officers, sergeants and corporals of all specialisations and musterings.

Anzac Exchange is the annual personnel exchange program between Air Force and the RNZAF. The 2006 program will be for three months’ duration and is expected to run from March 1 to May 31, 2006.

Eight sergeants and corporals and two junior officers will be selected. Final selections will not be made until after agreement has been reached on the trades to be exchanged.

Successful applicants will be advised by November 2005.

Expressions of interest are to be submitted by Standard Application PE 57 to OPM1, DP-AF, R8-7-024, by close of business October 7, 2005.

Late nominations will not be accepted.

Selection Criteria

  • Section commanders and COs, directors and managers are to assess the professional ability, representational qualities and dress and bearing of each nominee.
  • Nominees must receive an above average assessment of both professional and personal qualities.
  • Nominees must have passed a PFT in the last 12 months, are to be medically fit with a current deployment employment standard and must be medically fit for representational duty overseas, including an acceptable BMI.
  • Nominees must possess a security clearance commensurate with the exchange position.
