Explosives symposium to be held

TRENDS
in explosive ordnance technologies will be the focus of a forthcoming
symposium.
PARARI, the 7th Australian explosive ordnance (EO) symposium,
will be held at the Melbourne Sofitel from November 8-10.
The Directorate of Ordnance Safety and ADI Limited will host the
internationally recognised event, which attracts delegates from
the EO community of more than 13 nations.
Over the three days, the symposium will explore topics such as:
EO technologies and new projects, insensitive munitions design
and testing, explosives design and use, explosives manufacturing,
testing, risk assessment and environmental aspects, UXO disposal
and management, transport, blast and quantity distance, explosives
effects modelling, improvised explosive devices, explosives safety
and EO management and policy development.
