Captain Terrence Delahunty
For
exceptional service to the Royal Australian Air Force as Officer
Commanding No 44 Wing, Project Officer for the formation of Surveillance
and Response Group and Chief of Staff of Surveillance and Response
Group.
Through exceptional service in the development of the Royal Australian
Air Forces Air Traffic Control Capability and the Surveillance
and Response Group, GPCAPT Delahunty has demonstrated considerable
foresight in air traffic control and provided invaluable direction
for the further development of the RAAFs surveillance and
response capabilities.
Through his professionalism, leadership, strategic outlook, and
devotion to duty, GPCAPT Delahunty has inspired junior personnel
and colleagues to achieve first class outcomes.

Commander Stephen James Kerr
For
exceptional service as a Project Officer, Commanding Officer,
Operational Commander in the Middle East and Temporary Officer
Commanding No. 92 Wing to the RAAF maritime patrol and response
capability.
WGCDR Kerr has been highly influential and extremely effective
in project and command positions associated with the AP-3C Orion
maritime patrol and response capability for the RAAF over a number
of years.
He is an exceptional officer who has demonstrated unsurpassed
leadership and extensive knowledge of the AP-3C, and he has significantly
enhanced the capability of 92WG.

Commander Gary Martin
For
exceptional service as Commanding Officer of No. 37 Squadron.
WGCDR Martin has made an exceptional contribution to the command
and development of airlift forces of the RAAF.
Over a number of crucial commands he has displayed technical mastery
and an exceptional ability to command and lead effectively.
His development of the C130-J Hercules as a combat airlift platform
is a shining achievement, which reflects great credit on him and
on 37SQN and has significantly enhanced the combat airlift capability
of the RAAF.

Vice-Marshal Bruce Short
For
exceptional service to the ADF in senior appointments within the
Defence Health Services, particularly as the Surgeon General to
the ADF.
AVM Short has served with distinction in a number of senior health
appointments within the Australian Defence Force, culminating
in his current appointment as the Surgeon General.
In this role he has worked tirelessly and highly successfully
in ensuring that members of the ADF are constantly provided with
world-class health support.

Officer Richard Bohr
For
meritorious service as the Warrant Officer Engineer on C130 Hercules
aircraft.
WOFF Bohr displays exemplary leadership and devotion, which have
been significant in maintaining the high operational tempo of
No. 36 Squadron.
WOFF Bohr has been instrumental in the squadrons maintenance
team resolving personnel and aircraft serviceability issues and
has served with visible distinction during periods of intense
operational pressure.
WOFF Bohr has been involved in the support of several operations
including two tours on Operation Catalyst.

Sergeant Ronald Van Den Hurk
For
meritorious service as the Deployment Maintenance Supervisor at
No. 3 Control and Reporting Unit.
As the Deployment Maintenance Supervisor at 3CRU, FSGT Van Den
Hurk has made an exceptional contribution to enhancing the operational
capability of No. 41 Wing.
He implemented technical deployment procedures and training which
directly contributed to 41WG capability in Operations Guardian
II and Miata.
His dedication and technical expertise have directly influenced
the transition to the new Tactical Air Defence Radar System, and
he has been instrumental in improving 41WG satellite communications
capability.

Commander Michael Beattie
For
outstanding achievement in the field of Operational Flying Training,
Standards and Safety.
WGCDR Beattie implemented numerous changes in air safety policy
and documentation for all Air Lift Group units which are heavily
utilised in current operations.
He also supervised the acceptance of the Boeing 707 and C130-H
simulators. WGCDR Beatties work was pivotal in the successful
retirement of the C130-E and the introduction of the C130-J aircraft.
WGCDR Beatties contributions in the fields of operational
flying training, standards and safety are of an exceptional standard.

Sergeant Anthony Bernardo
For
outstanding achievement as a Structural Logistics Engineer at
Maritime Patrol Systems Program Office.
FSGT Bernardo has consistently demonstrated exceptional levels
of dedication, productivity and initiative as the P-3 Orion Structural
Logistics Engineer.
He has been a driving force behind the significant improvement
of long-term management of structural integrity for the P-3 Orion
while also providing exceptional engineering support to 92WG and
Operations Relex and Falconer.
His drive, enthusiasm and professionalism are exceptional and
in keeping with the finest traditions of the RAAF.

Commander David Langlois
For
outstanding achievement as Commanding Officer Tactical Fighter
Logistics Management Unit, supporting Hornet aircraft operations.
WGCDR Langlois is a loyal, energetic and devoted officer with
exceptional leadership skills.
His outstanding achievements as Commanding Officer have significantly
improved Hornet aircraft support, resulting in a sustained 15
per cent increase in Hornet aircraft serviceability realised by
Air Combat Group during his two-year tenure.
He has instilled a culture of fully supporting Air Combat Group
in an organisation maximised for exceptional performance through
his inspirational leadership.

Lieutenant Gavin Nicholson
For
outstanding achievement as a C130 Combat Airlift Pilot.
FLTLT Nicholson produced exceptional results in a range of aspects
of combat airlift from airborne operations flying to regulations,
procedures and simulation, through efforts above and beyond the
normal call of duty.
His maintenance of mission focus and extreme productivity, regardless
of workload, external pressure or complexity of task and his dedication,
unrelenting passion and tireless quest for better operational
methods are an example to all.

outstanding service in the field of military technical workforce
development, particularly as the Air Force Technical Trades Sponsor.
SQNLDR
ODonnells outstanding work as the Air Force Technical
Trades Sponsor has achieved valuable improvements in technical
trades training and professional development which, together,
have contributed substantially to sustaining technical airworthiness
for the ADF.

For
outstanding service as the Test One Operator Training Officer
at No. 92 Wing Development Flight.
As the Test One Training Officer, 92WG Development Flight, WOFF
Denison has played a crucial role in enhancing the operational
effectiveness of the Test One Operator mustering and the inter-operability
of electronic warfare elements of Defence.
Her achievements during a period of high operational rate of effort
and severe resource limitations demonstrate her loyalty, dedication
and professionalism and have brought great credit to the RAAF
within the intelligence community.

Lieutenant Cheryl Godfrey
For
outstanding service as the Air Traffic Control Standardisation
Officer Number 2, Headquarters No. 44 Wing.
FLTLT Godfrey has vastly improved the training and management
of air traffic control officers through the development and facilitation
of a course for senior Training Officers and Flight Commanders.
She has improved capability across 44WG by initiating significant
policy and procedural changes despite an intimidating work regime,
including an operational deployment.

Lieutenant Richard Smith
For
outstanding service as the Boeing 707 Flight Simulator Instructor.
FLTLT Smith developed specialised simulator training packages
for low visibility operations, jet upset recovery techniques and
wind shear recovery techniques.
He has also produced extensive and detailed training handbooks
of exceptional quality and refined the fidelity of the Boeing
707 full-flight simulator to ensure maximum training value for
aircrew. FLTLT Smiths work has significantly enhanced No.
33 Squadrons simulator training quality and output.
