There are some great songs on here which have justifiably become part of Western civilisations’s popular culture – and some pretty ordinary ones, which, because of their sheer schlock value, are also classics.

Turn it on loud, tune out and remember Countdown on the ABC – if you’re old enough.

A MEGA concert held back in 1989 by the once-ageless Peter Pan of pop music, Sir Cliff Richard – does it deserve to be digitised and turned into a double CD set?

Hard to say – Sir Cliff hasn’t exactly climbed the charts in the past decade so, other than bringing a warm flush of nostalgia to your mum, this would make two nice, shiny drinks coasters.
