Lonely at the top
A CLERK has won the RAAF Base Tindal women’s individual open triathlon for the third year running. Leading Aircraftwoman Belina Connor, from No. 322 Combat Support Squadron, said the win was no big deal because she was the only woman who entered – for the third year running.


Qld cricketers down and out
AIR Force has failed to break Army’s run in the Queensland inter- Service cricket competition. The event was held in Townsville from March 14-18 and featured a state Air Force team and Army teams from north and southeast Queensland.

Wagga’s first-time win
THIS year has been the most successful for the RAAF Base Wagga Cats side in the history of their three-year involvement in the annual Kapooka 12’s Australian rules football carnival.

AIR Force rugby union players from No. 36 Squadron braved scorching 35° temperatures and mixed results at the Kapooka 10’s rugby union competition.

Aussie rules season begins
The ADF Australian football competition will be played at Manuka Oval, Canberra, on April 15, 17 and 19.
