AN
AIR Force officer cadet has won ADFA’s highest honour.
Officer Cadet Matthew Brown was awarded the Commander in Chief’s
medal for his outstanding military and academic service at the
Academy.
Governor General Major-General Michael Jeffery presented OFFCDT
Brown the medal at the 2004 ADFA graduation parade late last year.
OFFCDT Brown consistently achieved exceptional academic results
during his study at ADFA.
In recognition of his excellent military performance, he was awarded
four Commandant and two Deputy Commandant military commendations.
At one of the largest military parades in Australia the 249 graduates
on parade were joined by more than 730 other Army and Air Force
officer cadets and Navy midshipmen.
The Chief of Air Force prize for outstanding military and academic
achievement was awarded to Officer Cadet Emily Reimers, while
Officer Cadet Marija Jovanovich was awarded a University Medal
by the University of New South Wales for outstanding academic
achievement.
OFFCDT Jovanovich was awarded a Bachelor of Science with first
class Honours.
During
her four years of study she achieved high distinctions in the
majority of her subjects.
