Courses

Manage
electromagnetic effects

ELECTRONICS
engineers, systems technicians, SNCO technicians and civilian
equivalents are encouraged to nominate for the maintainers’ electromagnetic
environmental effects (E3) management course.
The course provides students with knowledge to recognise, categorise
and address E3-related problems encountered in aircraft systems.
The four-day course will be held at RAAF Base Amberley from March
8-11 (TBC). Nominations are due by February 18. Email khoa.huynh@defence.gov.au

Aviation safety

THE Aviation Safety Officer course is proposed to be held at the
following times and locations:

March 1-10, HMAS Albatross;
- May
10-19, RAAF Base Amberley;
- September
13-22, RAAF Base Richmond (TBC); and
- November
15-24, RAAF Base East Sale.
The
course is mandatory for officer and airman aircrew, air traffic
controllers, air defence guards, engineers and maintenance personnel
who are selected for Aviation Safety Officer duties.
Course nominations will be requested about six weeks before each
